Adirondack Style Camp »
This Adirondack style camp was built on the exact footprint of an older camp (see 2nd photo), we removed. Designed under strict Association guidelines by one of our favorite local architects to satisfy the owner’s requirements for a 3 season camp which looked like it belonged to an older era. The resulting design is all spruce and pine finishes (no sheetrock!), with many cozy nooks to sleep, read, and enjoy the simple pleasures of Lake Champlain. We built the camp on a drained concrete foundation which dislodged the squirrels, and provide a dry storage space for winter storage. The house was insulated for Fall & Spring use, and features the drainage plane details incorporated into all of our exterior trim and cladding.
